Role Overview:

We are looking for a technically-minded Functional Analyst with strong analytical skills and a deep interest in data processing, digital lead flows, and cloud-based architectures. The ideal candidate is hands-on, autonomous, and driven to understand how systems work end-to-end, beyond classic business analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic & Analytical Problem-Solving: Translate business requirements into feasible IT solutions and data-driven concepts. Challenge assumptions, validate feasibility, and ensure proposals are grounded in technical reality. Apply process-flow thinking to design efficient, coherent lead journeys.
• Deep Data & Processing Insight: Contribute to processing strategies for millions of data points across channels. Understand underlying data logic, transformation rules, and pipeline behavior. Experience with PySpark, data pipelines, cloud processing, or distributed data frameworks is a strong advantage. Comfortable analyzing data behavior, investigating root causes, and digging into the “how” and “why” behind systems.
• Technical Affinity & Hands-on Mindset: Engage confidently with engineers, architects, and data specialists. Understand cloud concepts and the fundamentals of our Commercial Data Platform. See technical complexity as an opportunity to improve and refine lead processes.
• Ownership & Autonomous Delivery: Manage your own workstream from analysis to solution design. Conduct feasibility assessments, write functional specifications, and evaluate solution alternatives. Balance scope, technical constraints, budget, and time-to-market. Ensure solutions are not only implementable but fit into the broader architectural context.
• End-to-End Collaboration: Work with international teams on architecture boards, design sessions, and validation cycles. Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT implementation. Support monitoring, reporting standards, and operational quality.
• Stakeholder Support & Process Expertise: Act as subject matter expert for lead flows and technical-functional questions. Guide stakeholders in correct use of the leads framework and ensure process consistency. Identify optimization opportunities and proactively propose improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst with a focus on data processing and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep interest in digital lead flows.
• Experience with PySpark, data pipelines, cloud processing, or distributed data frameworks is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workstreams from analysis to solution design.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
