Senior Portfolio Officer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and structured Portfolio Officer with strong analytical, governance, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting Strategy & Transformation functions by translating strategic priorities into actionable, well-governed portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Enterprise Portfolio Governance and Decision Support.
- Develop and maintain PfMO–PMO collaboration models and bidirectional governance flows.
- Design and operationalize STO, TMO, PfMO, and PgMO operating models.
- Structure and roadmap strategic portfolios.
- Manage portfolio health, including OKRs, value, risk, progress, and capacity.
- Conduct RAID and dependency management.
- Perform scenario planning for value, risk, budget, and capacity.
- Prepare materials for Executive Committee and Portfolio Board.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and data models.
- Utilize PPM tools such as Planview or similar.
- Lead cross-domain stakeholder engagement across Strategy, IT, Finance, HR, and Architecture.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Proven advisory skills and the ability to demonstrate them during an interview.
- Strong communication, analytical, solution-oriented, agile mindset, and pragmatic skills.
- Fluent in one of the two national languages (French or Dutch) with a good command of the other.
- Proven experience in a complex or regulated environment.
- Experience with PPM tools (Planview, Clarity, etc.).
- Experience with BI, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
- Experience with cross-domain multi-level stakeholders (strategy, finance, IT, business units, external parties).
- Experience with Enterprise/Corporate Portfolio Governance for both Business and IT Initiatives.
- At least 5 years of senior experience in portfolio decision support and executive governance.
- Experience in reporting.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of Portfolio Management Frameworks such as MoP, PfMP, SAFe lean.
- Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration, computer science, management sciences, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in defining roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, initiative sequencing, and portfolio balancing is preferred.
