Job Title: Senior System Engineer

Location: Antwerpen

Project Duration: ASAP – November 3, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructures.
• Serve as the technical authority for WAN, LAN, and Wireless environments.
• Provide expertise in Fortinet and Aruba technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues independently.

Required Technical Competencies:

WAN / Security:

• Expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN architectures.
• Proficiency in BGP routing and IPsec VPN technologies.
• Experience in firewall rule design and policy management.
• Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.

LAN:

• Experience with HPE Aruba switching and Cisco enterprise switching.
• Knowledge of core switching environments and Aruba Central (on-prem).
• Understanding of VLANs, routing, and redundancy.

Wireless:

• Proficiency with Aruba Access Points and Aruba AirWave.
• Experience in enterprise Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting.

General Networking:

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of high-availability and failover designs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Engineer with expertise in network and security infrastructures.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong hands-on operational experience.

Desired Skills:

• Deep expertise in Fortinet and Aruba technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English is required.
