Mission Context:

This position is a temporary internal assignment, replacing a colleague until year-end, with the objective of ensuring continuity of strategic projects within Marketing & Communications. The Senior Expert will be embedded in the Audience & Workflow Management team and will report hierarchically to the Head of the MarCom Expertise Centre. The role requires a senior expert profile capable of operating autonomously at a strategic level, ensuring governance, coherence, and delivery across a complex, transversal project landscape.

Function Description:

The Expert – Project Management is responsible for the strategic and operational continuity of a portfolio of projects. The role focuses on:

• Project governance and decision support
• Consolidation of progress, risks, and financials
• Alignment between strategy, execution, and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuity of project governance, steering, and delivery throughout the temporary assignment

• Collaborate closely with the Audience & Workflow Management team, ensuring alignment with audience strategy and workflow governance
• Translate strategic objectives into clear project priorities, milestones, and follow-up mechanisms
• Consolidate and monitor the progress, dependencies, and outcomes of all tasks within the project
• Act as a senior expert sounding board for colleagues on complex, cross-project, or high-impact issues
• Identify, analyze, and manage project-level risks, issues, and dependencies, including escalation preparation
• Support decision-making by preparing structured analyses, scenarios, and recommendations
• Ensure project-level budget follow-up, cost control, and forecasting
• Prepare, structure, and actively contribute to program steering committees
• Ensure compliance with policies and control frameworks (Compliance, Permanent Control, Operational Risk)
• Provide clear, concise, and decision-oriented reporting to the Head of the MarCom Expertise Centre and key stakeholders

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Native or fluent

• French: Native or fluent
• English: Fluent

Education:

Master’s degree or equivalent through experience

Certification:

Project or project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe, etc.) is an asset

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• Expert level with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in senior project or project management

• Proven track record in managing complex, transversal projects
• Strong experience in governance, dependency management, risk management, and financial follow-up
• Experience in financial services/banking is a strong asset
• Very good knowledge of project and project management methodologies and tools
• A background in Adobe Campaign and other Adobe solutions like Workfront is a big plus
