Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer

Location: Brussels

Work Regime:

• 2 days on-site per week, 3 days remote

Languages Required: Dutch, French, English

End Date: 31/12/2026, with the possibility of extension

Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer to support four teams. These projects are long-term and strategically important.

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide four teams, each led by a project manager using the PRINCE2 framework.
• Ensure teams follow a Scrum-based methodology, with some applying the SAFe framework for quarterly planning.
• Collaborate with the client, who provides a Product Owner and Project Manager for each track.
• Maintain core agile values while tailoring methodologies to fit organizational complexities.
• Navigate roles that may not fully align with a strictly agile framework.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Senior professional with strong methodological expertise and a pragmatic mindset.
• Assertiveness to guide development teams and clients in applying methodologies.
• Ability to handle organizational complexities.
• Excellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English.

Desired Skills:

• Expert in Agile and Scrum Master roles.
• Junior level in Agile Coaching.
• Confirmed experience with Jira / Confluence.
• Confirmed experience with the Scaled Agile Framework.
