Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Domain Architect Supply Chain Management (SCM) to define and lead the target architecture for end-to-end supply chain processes. This includes Demand and Supply Planning across all planning horizons (long, mid, and short term), Inventory and Warehouse Management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Logistics Execution, and the Maintenance Supply Chain. You will design the future-state SCM architecture on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring strong integration with Maintenance (PM), Finance, Engineering, and depot logistics. You will guide complex transformations and support in building a resilient, transparent, and regulatory-compliant supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the S/4HANA SCM target architecture tailored to depot operations, rolling stock maintenance flows, critical spare parts management, and logistics constraints.
- Lead full lifecycle S/4HANA SCM implementations as Domain Architect.
- Own solution design for Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (Stock room management/EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and SAP Business Network for Supply Chain.
- Optional Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Manufacturing, and integration with PM Architecture integrations with all relevant systems within SCM and S/4HANA.
- Model processes and enterprise capabilities for governance and compliance.
- Lead workshops with senior stakeholders (Supply Chain, Rolling Stock, Infrastructure Engineering, Finance).
- Oversee the results of the delivery teams, validate design decisions, and ensure adherence to future-state architecture.
- Guide integration supporting safety-critical stocking policies, long lead-time parts, multi-depot inventory, and material traceability.
- Support project execution using ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, Cloud ALM, and Solution Manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proficiency at CEFR level C1 or C2 in Dutch or French, and at least CEFR level B1 in English.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in SAP Supply Chain Management including SAP MM (basic), Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM or EWM), mobile warehouse solutions, automated warehousing solutions, Transportation Management, and integration with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Led at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project in the role of Domain Architect, supported by evidence in the CV or project references.
- Professional experience in at least one asset-intensive, logistics-intensive, or industry.
- Professional experience with SAP Ariba and/or supplier collaboration platforms.
- Advanced professional experience with enterprise architecture tools.
- Availability to work onsite in Brussels at least two days per week.
Desired Skills and Certifications
- Deep knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA SCM modules.
- Strong integrated process understanding across PM, SD, FI/CO, and PP.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Network for Supply Chain.
- Experience with logistics integrations, depot management processes, and spare parts supply chains.
- Strong project management methodology, with experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, and Solution Manager.
- Proven ability to lead workshops with senior managers in Supply Chain, Rolling Stock, Engineering, and Operations.
- Ability to steer SAP consultants and validate architecture aligned with long-term operating models.
