Data Warehouse Engineer

Location: Halle, 3 dagen onsite, 2 dagen remote

Responsibilities:

• Manage BI assignments from start to finish, including making agreements with partners, estimating required resources, coordinating tasks, and ensuring delivery to the end user.
• Gather partner requirements and translate them into a functional analysis that leads to an efficient technical solution, maintaining regular alignment with the partner.
• Prepare test scenarios and perform necessary tests on the data warehouse, coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Design and develop the business layer and visualizations, performing relevant tests in collaboration with the partner.
• Collaborate frequently with other specialists, such as the data management team, information stewards, business analysts, and data scientists.
• Act as the primary BI point of contact for users.

Expected Deliverables for Each Assignment:

• Intake & estimations

• Functional requirements analysis
• BI design
• Documentation of the BI solution

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing BI assignments end-to-end.

• Strong skills in gathering and translating partner requirements into functional analyses.
• Experience in designing and developing business layers and visualizations.
• Ability to collaborate with various specialists and act as a primary BI point of contact.

Language Proficiency:

• English is required.

• Dutch is a strong plus.
