QA - Test Engineer for a client in Flemish-Brabant.

Assignment Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension

Work Regime: Full-time

Location: Flexibility to work both from office premises and remotely from home

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for portal and CRM applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts and test strategy.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools such as Jira/ADO.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with other systems and teams to identify system impact and ensure team collaboration across various platforms (e.g., SAP, Clarity).
• Validate data integrity between portal and CRM systems.
• Conduct API testing and backend validation where needed.
• Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and environments.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA reporting.
• Continuously improve QA processes and testing methodologies.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in QA/testing for web applications and CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira & Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Platform Administration.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Vue, TypeScript, and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in D365 solution management, security roles, and environment setup.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers such as Apache Kafka.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, data flows, and system integrations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, and Vue.js.
• Understanding of Azure services, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Puppeteer, BrowserStack, Cypress, Selenium, Katalon).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate test cases.
