Senior Information Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an expert in information security compliance.
• Assist technical teams in meeting industry-standard information security standards to protect information assets.
• Collaborate with various divisions to develop and implement best practices for information security.
• Conduct compliance assessments and evaluate non-compliance and remediation actions.
• Perform internal audits on assets, including follow-up and closure of findings.
• Facilitate external audits and ensure follow-up and closure of findings.
• Plan and conduct vendor assessments against information security requirements, including risk assessment and follow-up.
• Manage the risk portfolio internally and/or with vendors.
• Oversee the management of standards and procedures for information security.
• Develop and execute information security awareness campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing, using, or auditing International Standards Organization (ISO) Management structures.
• Experience with ISO 27001 (Information Security Management Systems).
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and network operations.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools for document, presentation, and spreadsheet creation.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, ServiceNow, or configuration management is a bonus.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing; fluency in Dutch is a plus.
• Well-organized and structured, with the ability to plan and set work targets and deliver on objectives.
