Job Title: Lead Functional Analyst

Location: Remote (within Europe)

Purpose:

Act as the functional authority of the platform, ensuring that business requirements are consistently translated into scalable AEM implementations, while also enabling authors, support teams, and business analysts through documentation and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own functional analysis standards, models, and documentation templates.
• Validate and consolidate requirements coming from business areas.
• Translate business needs into AEMaaCS/EDS‑aligned functional designs.
• Ensure consistency of page templates, components, and authoring patterns.
• Create and maintain:
  • Functional documentation
  • Authoring guidelines
  • Support and operational documentation
• Design and deliver training for authors and support teams.
• Coach BA‑specific authors/analysts.

Required Competencies:

• Deep understanding of AEM authoring and content models.
• Strong documentation and training experience.
• Ability to balance flexibility with standardization.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with Agile scrum and hybrid delivery models.

Foundations:

• Functional standards and templates approved.
• Documentation baseline completed before pilot.
• Training strategy defined and validated.
• Alignment of functional scope with platform vision.

Pilot:

• Completeness and clarity of functional documentation.

Languages:

English proficiency required.

This role is integral to transforming the current web landscape into a unified, cloud-based platform leveraging a decoupled frontend and backend (headless architecture), improving speed, flexibility, and user experience, while supporting global scalability.
