SAP & Supply - DT Serialization Lead

Position:

DT Functional Lead – Serialization System Implementation (Level 5)

Start Date:

ASAP (targeted from June 2026)

End Date:

End of 2026 (initially until December 2026, with extension likely into 2027)

Location:

Remote work supported within European time zones. If based in Belgium, preferred location is Braine-l’Alleud with onsite presence required 1 full day per week.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the DT functional lead for the serialization system (Level 5) implementation.
• Liaise with the solution vendor and integrator to understand system capabilities and boundaries.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including IT Validation, Digital & Business Quality Assurance, Global Supply Chain, and Functional System Owners.
• Lead and contribute hands-on to CSV documentation (URS, FRS, DS, FRA, IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Ensure alignment with SOPs, templates, and validation standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and track validation and delivery activities.
• Participate in regular project meetings and escalate risks/issues to the steering committee.
• Work closely with a non-DT project manager assigned on the business side.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Senior profile required with 8+ years of experience, with strong exposure to serialization systems in regulated environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with serialization systems (L3–L5).
• Experience in Computerized System Validation (CSV).
• Strong knowledge of serialization regulations, especially US DSCSA.
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: SAP ATTP, SAP ICH, Tracelink (or equivalent serialization platform).
• Familiarity with GS1 standards and EPCIS.
• Ability to work hands-on within defined validation frameworks.

Ideal Candidate:

A Digital Technology Functional Lead with deep serialization expertise who understands how serialization systems operate functionally and how they must be validated in a pharma context. Not a pure solution architect and not a pure project manager, but a hands-on functional lead capable of bridging IT, Quality, Business, and Vendors to deliver a compliant system.

Nice to Have:

• SAP ATTP Level 4 background (strong foundation for Level 5 work).
• Prior experience delivering US-market serialization solutions.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to multiple serialized system levels (L3, L4, L5).

Language Requirements:

English mandatory.

Work Allocation:

50% allocation preferred, but flexible. Full-time or higher availability can be discussed for a strong, niche profile. Focus is on quality and experience, not strict availability.
