GIS Technical Lead Position

Overview:
As a Technical Lead Expert specializing in GIS, you will be at the forefront of spatial data management for transportation infrastructure and real-time operations.
Responsibilities:
- GIS Implementation: Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for railway projects, ensuring accurate geospatial data collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Railway Network Mapping: Collaborate with engineering teams to map railway networks, track layouts, and station locations.
- Route Optimization: Apply geospatial techniques to optimize rail routes, considering factors like terrain, safety, and efficiency.
- Asset Management: Manage geospatial databases for railway assets, including tracks, signals, bridges, and tunnels.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including railway operators, contractors, and third parties.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, adherence to standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
Conformity Criteria:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Geoscience or Aeronautics.
- At least 6 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, ESRI suite.
- Proven Geoserver, Geodatabase development experience.
- ESRI Certified.
- Minimum of B2 CEFR level in English.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Coding experience in .NET or Python.
- B2 CEFR level in French or Dutch.
- Knowledge of railway infrastructure, signaling systems, and track alignment are a plus.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ArcGIS products.
Skills:
- At least 6 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, ESRI suite.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Geoscience or Aeronautics.
- ESRI Certified.
- Minimum of B2 CEFR level in English.
- Proven Geoserver, Geodatabase development experience.
