Role Overview:

You will play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the organization's data-driven initiatives. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that data is accurately collected, stored, processed, and made accessible for analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that efficiently ingest, process, and store data from various sources.
• Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that support the organization's analytical and reporting needs, ensuring data is structured for easy access and analysis.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and external data providers, to create a unified and comprehensive data ecosystem.
• Data Quality: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data.
• Data Storage: Design and manage data storage solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and databases, to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and tools.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technological trends and innovations in data engineering. Propose and evaluate new technologies and methodologies that can enhance the organization's data capabilities.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of data pipelines, data models, and data integration processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that the data infrastructure meets their expectations and requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to refine and enhance data engineering processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills in data engineering, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of data storage solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their data services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
