Job Title: QA Test Engineer

Location: Brussels – 2 days onsite
Responsibilities:
- Writing Test Plans and Scenarios: Develop test plans and scenarios based on existing documentation and functionalities. Make recommendations on tests to execute, such as non-regression tests, based on acceptance criteria and identified risks.
- Test Scenarios: Conduct functional, non-functional (volume, performance, security, data quality), integration, and non-regression testing.
- Preparing Test Data: Select or create test data prior to executing test scenarios.
- Executing Test Scenarios: Execute test plans and scenarios, document test results with evidence like logs and screenshots, ensuring efficiency and adherence to team planning.
- Test Automation: Collaborate with the team to select test cases for automated test suites, implement test automation, and maintain and execute automated test suites regularly.
- Defect Follow-Up: Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools, update and maintain test documents with test results, and collaborate with developers and project leaders to achieve quality goals.
- Deployment Approval: Responsible for approving deployment from test to acceptance environment, considering and reproducing any defects found in acceptance or production environments.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in test plan/design/scenario writing.
- Experience in test automation and/or programming/scripting (e.g., Python) and/or equivalent logic.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and associated queries.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Experience with RobotFramework (RF) is an asset.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is beneficial.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Critical thinking and ability to challenge.
- Understanding of technical IT concepts such as service and client applications, web services, APIs, protocols, front-end, back-end, etc.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ is a major plus.
- Experience with DevOps tickets is a plus.
- Security testing experience is a plus.
