Product Owner IAM
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Antwerpen
Description and Tasks:
The Product Owner IAM will report to the Domain Product Manager (DPM) concerning IAM topics and will help define and implement the strategic direction of identity and access capabilities. This includes building on existing initiatives and setting up new ones to enhance secured digital identity. The role involves combining product ownership with strong business analysis, bringing clarity, structure, and concrete recommendations, and acting as a central point of coordination across teams, stakeholders, and partners. The role may evolve over time, with the possibility to contribute to broader digital initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring structure and clarity to the IAM domain.
- Analyze business needs and processes, and turn these into clear and actionable proposals.
- Translate IAM direction into concrete scenarios, deliverables, and roadmap elements (e.g., capabilities, solutions).
- Prepare decision-making by outlining trade-offs, impacts, and dependencies.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for IAM-related topics towards internal teams and coordinate with external suppliers.
- Ensure alignment with business, architecture, and delivery teams.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, driving them towards concrete outcomes and next steps.
- Promote IAM awareness and adoption across the organization and ensure solutions are understood and anchored in business processes.
- Maintain close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Profile and Experience:
We are primarily looking for a strong individual contributor who brings structure, clarity, and strong analysis — not a pure technical IAM specialist.
Profile:
- Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or a combination of both in a complex environment.
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor without a dedicated team, while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset: able to structure complexity and translate it into clear scenarios and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including experience with external partners.
- Able to collaborate effectively with architecture and technical teams, and translate technical concepts into business language.
- Proactive, autonomous, and constructively critical.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years relevant experience in IAM, or other relevant security experience.
- Experience in organizing and leading workshops with cross-functional teams & stakeholders.
- Proven ability to contribute to (strategic) roadmaps, capabilities, or transformation initiatives.
- Experience in stakeholder management and change enablement.
- Familiarity with IAM tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, ForgeRock, etc.) is a plus.
