Mission Context:
We are looking for an expert Java Developer to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions for our features. As a key member of the team, you will shape the technical direction of our applications to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Lead the setup of future applications, focusing on customer value and code quality.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and ensure high-quality solutions.
- Analyze and refine requirements to deliver new functionalities efficiently.
- Champion code quality, organization, and automation, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Work on green fields and hexagonal architecture, with TDD/BDD and pair programming as standard practices.
Language Requirements:
Dutch, French, English, with active knowledge of at least one local language and passive knowledge of the other.
Telework Expectation:
50% on-site & 50% homeworking.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in Java development.
- Technical expertise in Spring (Boot), Maven, and Java development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle), messaging systems (Kafka), and service buses.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, testing frameworks, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus.
- Preferable experience with integration using different technologies and infra components.
- ReactJS knowledge.
