Medior Communication Officer
Location: Oost-Vlaanderen (5 days per week on-site)
Start Date: July 2026
End Date: March 2027
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of internal and external communication campaigns.
- Coordinate and follow up on communication projects, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen visibility through events, media support, and partnerships.
- Create and edit content for various channels such as the website, social media, newsletters, and internal platforms.
- Manage social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
- Contribute to the smooth operation and continuous improvement of communication tools, systems, and processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and support communication needs across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Several years of relevant experience in a communication and/or marketing role.
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Good organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and/or Drupal.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or photo and video editing tools is a plus.
Education:
A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English and Dutch.
