Senior Tech Lead / Project Manager

Position: Senior Tech Lead / Project Manager

Start Date: ASAP – ideally June 2026 (early July acceptable for strong candidates)

End Date: Initial contract until end 2026, with possible extensions up to ~2 years total

Location: Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a critical internal system.
• Run Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up, sprint planning, grooming, and demos.
• Manage project delivery, including timeline, budget, risks, and scope.
• Coordinate with development teams and cross-functional IT teams.
• Interact with stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Conduct intake discussions with stakeholders and define new requirements.
• Work closely with the Digital Technology partner.
• Weekly alignment meeting with the manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years in project management or technical leadership roles.
• Strong experience leading custom software development projects.
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog management and Azure DevOps.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and project financials.
• Ability to manage risks and escalate issues proactively.
• Capability to challenge stakeholders and say no when needed.
• Experience leading technical teams.

• Strong pragmatic mindset and ability to navigate complexity.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to guide and inspire teams.
• Strong communication across both business and technical audiences.

Nice to Have:

• Interest in or exposure to AI technologies.
• Experience supporting internal audits.
• Technical background with .NET/Angular environments.

Language Requirements:

• English: mandatory
• French: nice to have (not required)

Homeworking Policy:

Hybrid model with 1–2 days onsite per week (Monday typically preferred).
