Service Description:

In the scope of the evolution of IT, we are actively looking for an external experienced Data Integration Engineer / Integration Layer Developer. This position is part of a foundational team responsible for creating and maintaining the data product factory.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions for effective data management, including data quality tooling and master data management.
• Ensure alignment between business/technical architecture and the functional/non-functional needs of clients.
• Provide concrete experience in best practices for data management concepts and data platform solutions.
• Guarantee performance and trust in the solution by participating in the setup and following a continuous build and testing platform.
• Collaborate with the (sub) chapter lead to contribute to the maturity development of the chapter.
• Bring technical expertise to the team, including infrastructure knowledge of tools used in the data platform (open data soft, queue manager, distributed cache, audit, and monitoring).
• Participate in the setup of an efficient and dynamic documentation solution.
• Provide second and third-line support for production.

Requirements:

Technical Skills (required):

• Experience in .Net/Microsoft platform (5+ years).
• Integration framework experience.
• Scheduler framework experience.
• Audit and Trace framework experience (3+ years).
• Efficient monitoring tools experience (3+ years).
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP), XML, Flat Files, GraphQL, Messaging-/Streaming-based communication.
• Experience with a data-centric approach and working in a product organization.
• Capabilities to assist in the administration of tools used in a mixed environment (Windows and Unix).
• Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be in English. Proficiency in this language is mandatory.
• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous).
• Distributed cache patterns (concepts and practical experience).
• Practical experience in the usage of Messaging and/or Event Streaming solutions.
• Practical experience in the development of a data integration layer.
• Automated Unit Testing and Integration Testing.
• Continuous Integration development.
