ICT SAP Project Manager - Supply Chain

Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension

Work Regime: Full-time

Location: Leuven, with a requirement for onsite presence 3 days a week. Remote work is possible for the remaining days.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, identifying deliverables, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies. Motivate and support the project team to achieve objectives.
• Vendor Management: Oversee ICT vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, organize meetings, and present key elements for decision-making. Report on project progress, budget, risks, and issues.
• Execution Excellence: Ensure projects adhere to agreed standards and methodologies, including quality gating and testing.
• Change Management: Lead communication, training, and post-go-live support for the SAP Asset Management solution.
• Handover to Operations: Ensure knowledge transfer and operational handover before project closure.
• Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders involved in the project.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Education & Experience:

  • Over 10 years of SAP project management experience.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in project and change management in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, finance, and master data processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP EWM, MM, Finance, and Logistics is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP implementation in Supply Chain Management or Asset Management is advantageous.
• Skills:
  • Team player with a no-nonsense attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills for planning, budgeting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English with a good knowledge of Dutch.
• Technical Tools Expertise:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a significant advantage.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with SAP implementation in a high-value asset industry.
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
