CMDB Expert

For a client, we are seeking a CMDB Expert to lead the design and implementation of a centralized Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Lead the end-to-end implementation of a centralized CMDB, including design, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Define and maintain the CMDB data model, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
Act as project lead, coordinating all implementation phases, stakeholders, and deliverables.
Ensure asset and configuration visibility, enabling impact analysis and improved IT governance.
Define and monitor the step-by-step implementation roadmap of the CMDB solution.
Conduct internal assessments (due diligence, data quality reviews, gap analysis).
Align the CMDB with ISO 27001 requirements and security controls.
Redesign and optimize Change Management processes to ensure full integration with the CMDB.
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to support ITSM/ESM processes and adoption.
Contribute to the digitalization and automation of service operations.

At least 10 years’ experience in CMDB design and implementation in large-scale environments.
Strong knowledge of ITSM / ITIL frameworks and service management processes.
Experience in leading complex IT projects and managing stakeholders.
Solid understanding of Change Management processes.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
Experience with data governance and data quality management.
Good understanding of ISO 27001 and IT security practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
