For a client in East Flanders, we are seeking a Business Analyst.
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders to identify needs, define business requirements, and ensure that technology initiatives deliver value aligned with business strategy. This role acts as a bridge between business and IT, focusing on business processes, requirements, and outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas.
- Facilitate workshops to elicit and validate business needs.
- Capture and document business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure clear distinction between business requirements and system implementation.
- Document as-is and to-be business processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Support procurement processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) by defining business needs and evaluating solutions.
- Work closely with Functional Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and IT teams to ensure requirements are understood.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining business scenarios and validating outcomes.
- Assess business impact of changes and support change impact analysis.
- Support development of change management strategies and plans.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Contribute to communication and training materials for end users.
- Monitor adoption and gather feedback to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
Mandatory:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Working knowledge of business processes modeling (BPMN)
- Collaboration and influencing skills
- Understanding of change management principles and methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, ...)
- Ability to assess and manage business impact of change
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills in transformation contexts
