Application Architect 

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 31/12/2026 (with possible extensions)

Work Regime: Full-time, 2 days per week onsite

Location: Brussels

Language Requirements

Ideally Dutch, French, and English. Alternatively, Dutch or French and English.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee architectures to ensure IT solutions align with business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with analysts and development teams to deliver applications, services, and system integrations.
• Work on a new authentication mechanism for applications integrated into the portal, ensuring they follow a migration path to the new authenticator.
• Follow the design and implementation of related projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience in software engineering and application architecture.
• Previous roles as a lead developer, solution architect, or application architect.
• Strong expertise in security, microservices, API-first architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
