Service Description:

We are continuously enhancing our SAP authorization management processes. The aim is to establish a consistent, audit-compliant authorization framework, minimize elevated or exceptional privileges, and ensure Emergency User Procedures (EUP) are applied only when strictly necessary. This initiative involves analyzing current authorization usage, evaluating EUP-related activities, and transitioning exceptional tasks into standardized, dialog-based processes wherever possible.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct an AS-IS analysis of authorization usage.
• Review the usage of elevated authorizations or EUP accounts.
• Identify process gaps and determine activities that can be executed with standard dialog authorizations.
• Perform gap analyses in the authorization concept to identify missing roles, authorization objects, or process steps.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the authorization and EUP framework.
• Support the design, documentation, and rollout of a unified, secure, and audit-ready authorization process, including a strengthened Emergency User Procedure.
• Optimize authorization and EUP usage with targets to reduce elevated authorizations, eliminate broad authorizations, and increase security, traceability, and governance of EUP processes.

Requirements:

• Deep technical understanding of existing authorization processes and EUP.
• Experience with SAP user statistics and usage analysis.
• Proficiency in ABAP authorization concepts across S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SRM, CRM, and BTP.
• Good documentation skills.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience working with Jira.

Languages:

English plus Dutch, French, or German.
