Service description Test Engineer:
 

 

• Work closely together with the agile project development team
• Create and execute a test strategy that fits the needs of the project
• Responsibility for all aspects of manual and performance testing for the full project lifecycle
• Periodic evaluation of your work and strategy with the project owner
• Fluent understanding, speaking and writing of the English language

 
Skills & qualifications:
 

• Create a test strategy/master/detailed test plan suitable for the project
• Write clear test reports with relevant information for the project owner and his team

• Create tests following the requirements and the released functionality
• Show proactive attitude and identify possible threads that can have major impact on the project delivery or future use
• Create and execute specific test scenarios
• Create consistent documentation on findings/results/observed issues/possible threats
• Perform regression testing and follow-up
• Identify and reproduce major issues in an early stage using exploratory testing
• Dive into found issues to find the root cause using tools like Dynatrace
• Automate/maintain basic and complex scenarios for use with test automation tools, performance testing, compatibility testing or security testing
• Experience with one or more test automation/performance tools and able to decide which of the tools are most suitable for the project
• Experience with following tools is an advantage

· Atlassian tool set (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
· Dynatrace
· TestRail
· TestComplete
· EasyMock
· Spock,Mockito
· Junit 5
· DBUnit

• At least 2 years of experience with different test methodologies (Agile, Exploratory testing, V-Model, Iterative)
