Duration: Long-term assignment

Work Regime: Full-time, with 2 days on-site

Location: Brussels

Languages Required: Dutch or French (native level), and good English proficiency

Project Description:

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of applications using Java and modern front-end technologies. You will join a dynamic development team working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features
  • Analyze and fix bugs
  • Write automated tests
  • Update technical documentation
  • Ship new software releases
  • Review code quality and participate in code reviews
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies

Technical Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Java
  • Strong knowledge of Java 17 or higher
  • Experience with Angular version 18 or later
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data (JPA 2 or 3), and Spring Security
  • Experience with Hibernate ORM and SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
  • Experience with Maven 3, Artifactory, and Docker
  • Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, and (Micro)services Architecture
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging technologies via Kafka and MQ
  • Some experience with Kubernetes for containerized deployments
  • Experience collaborating using Figma
  • Angular project organization in NX, with build via Gradle and dependency management via Npm (Artifactory)
