R&D Project Manager

Assignment Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension

Desired Start Date: 02/09/2026

Work Regime: Full-time

Location: Onsite presence required 3 days a week, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments of resources required for research projects, including defining milestones, deliverables, and team composition.
• Balance customer needs with available resources and priorities in collaboration with the technical lead/manager.
• Establish a working methodology for the project team, including meeting schedules, documentation, and reporting.
• Monitor project progress against the approved plan, tracking key deliverables and resource dashboards.
• Identify and assess issues/risks, estimating their impact and escalating to higher management when necessary.
• Explore and identify opportunities for value creation in work methods and business processes.
• Implement and improve overall project methodology.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree, preferably in computer architecture or engineering.
• Extensive experience in project and change management, and project delivery.
• Knowledge of computer architectures, instruction set architectures, system simulation (gem5, SST,...), and system performance modeling.
• Strong ability to build internal and external relationships, with a customer-focused and result-oriented approach.
• Experience functioning in a matrix organization, interacting with multiple stakeholders.

Language Proficiency:
