Job Listing: F5 Networking and Security Engineer

Design and implement load balancing and high-availability architecture using F5 BIG-IP solutions.
Configure and administer virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, iRules, SSL profiles, and traffic policies.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates, SSL offloading, encryption configuration, traffic inspection, and reporting.
Deploy and manage Web Application Firewall (AWAF) policies.
Integrate authentication and access management using APM and enterprise identity services.
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and service optimization.
Provide incident, problem, and change management support.
Conduct security patching, software upgrades, and lifecycle management of F5 infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application delivery, connectivity, and performance issues.
Document operational procedures and conduct knowledge transfer activities to stakeholders.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics, ICT, or telecommunications, or equivalent technical experience.
In-depth knowledge of IP Networks and their management in multi-site environments and data centres.
Advanced knowledge and experience with F5 solutions in complex environments.
Comprehensive understanding of IT security concepts, architectures, and implementations.
Ability to work independently, methodically, and assess risks accurately.
Customer-oriented with the ability to handle stress and adapt to urgent operational issues.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with colleagues, departments, suppliers, and service providers.
Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.

Work regime: 40 hours per week.
For non-EU candidates, a valid work permit and residence permit for Belgium are required.
