Functional Analyst Position

Location: Brussels

Job Description:

We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our team of highly talented and motivated analysts in the domain of Operational Planning & Competencies. You will primarily work on the ongoing project "ACTOR," which aims to further digitalize and optimize the management of qualifications and certifications for operational and other personnel. This project offers the opportunity to shape project outputs and contribute to delivering increasingly better services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver IT solutions for planning and competency management.
• Work on solutions for various personnel including train drivers, managers, and station-based staff.
• Develop alternatives in case of disruptions.
• Participate in the digitalization and optimization of qualification management.

Conformity Criteria:

• Ability to work onsite in Brussels at least on Monday and one additional day per week.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in qualification management within the transport sector, including defining and implementing Qualification Frameworks.
• Practical experience in at least one start-to-finish implementation of SuccessFactors within an enterprise-level environment (1,000+ employees).
• At least 2 years of experience in defining, structuring, and prioritizing product backlogs in Jira/Confluence.
• Experience in implementing at least one HRIS system from start to finish.
• Language proficiency: Fluent (minimum CEFR C1) in English and either Dutch or French, with a solid working knowledge (minimum CEFR B2) of the other national language.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Experience in leading requirements elicitation workshops in multilingual settings (NL, FR, EN).
• Ability to independently analyze, structure, review, and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Experience as a Project Manager in coordinating business case development and project scope definition.
• Experience in leading business change impacting 100+ employees within an enterprise-level environment.
• Demonstrated experience in using AI tools to optimize work processes, improve deliverable quality, and increase efficiency.

Skills:

• Implementation of HRIS systems from start to finish.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with working knowledge of the other language.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence for product backlog management.
• Experience in qualification management within the transport sector.
• Experience with SuccessFactors implementation in large enterprises.
