Expert Functional Analyst

Role Description:

As a Functional Analyst you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and IT. Your mission is to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and support the delivery of customer-centric, compliant, and reliable digital services across enterprise channels and ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate alignment between business and IT stakeholders, and define the most appropriate solutions to address business needs.
• Define functional requirements and propose feasible solutions, evaluating the pros and cons of each.
• Design detailed functional solutions aligned with the target architecture and ensure a shared understanding across the delivery team.
• Provide guidance and clarification to developers and testers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Continuously challenge ways of working and promote best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex business and IT environment.
• Strong ability to build bridges between stakeholders, influence decision-making, and foster collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and bring people together around shared solutions.
• Results-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Embody Agile and Scrum values: commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.

Desired Skills:

• Practical knowledge and experience with API, Java-based distributed applications, Mainframe programs, SQL queries, and data management.
• Experience in software testing and testing tools.
• Strong experience in software lifecycle management.

Work Arrangement:

Telework: 50% Onsite
