Mission Context:

The Data Reporting & Visualization Specialist plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. This function bridges the gap between technical data teams and business units, ensuring that data-driven decisions are clear, accessible, and impactful. The specialist focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making while adhering to compliance, data governance, and security standards.

Function Description:

The Data Visualization Specialist supports internal customers and realizes various data reporting and visualization projects by:

  • Understanding and identifying visualization and reporting needs with stakeholders.
  • Capturing requirements and translating them into prototypes and full dashboards.
  • Collecting and assembling data to support prototyping of visualizations.
  • Developing, updating, optimizing, publishing, and decommissioning dashboards/reports while respecting data and reporting governance guidelines.
  • Striving for optimal solutions for the development and automation of reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborating with Data Engineers to create sustainable data solutions and evolve existing ones in line with new needs.
  • Setting up, advocating, and implementing reporting and visualization best practices according to defined guidelines and standards.
  • Coaching junior Data Visualization Specialists.
  • Documenting and training users on effectively maximizing different tools.

Education:

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or economics. Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Certification:

Certification in SAS EG, SAP, Tableau, or related technologies is a plus.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience / Knowledge:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics & Visualization.
  • Ability to prepare data for visualization purposes and build a clear story to support decision-making.
  • Ability to visualize data and design dashboards.
  • Knowledge of data concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction, and preparation processes.
  • Understanding of governance and security rules when handling data.
  • Understanding and knowledge of data strategy.
  • Proficiency in data reporting and visualization tools (MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Access; Tableau; SAP Business Objects) and data preparation tools like SAS Enterprise Guide. Python, Power BI preferred.

Business Experience Mandatory:

  • Prior experience in Banking, Data Analytics, and Project Management.
