Data Architect 

Location: Gent

Responsibilities:

• Provide architecture leadership and support within the end-to-end lifecycle of managing data.
• Offer technical leadership, participate in development efforts, and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the data platform.
• Collaborate with multiple product teams and internal teams including compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support, and operations.
• Develop architectures, strategies, and policies around data, including data governance, master data management, metadata management, data quality, and data security.
• Build domain business knowledge and translate these into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in one of the following development tracks: Analytics & BI development, data analysis, data engineering, platforms administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, etc.).
• Experience on Azure Cloud platform around data (Databricks, ADLS storage, SQL DB).
• Proficiency in technologies like Python or Spark.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Databricks and experience in building and maintaining metadata-driven frameworks on Databricks.
• Experience in defining and owning end-to-end scalable Data Architecture considering enterprise architecture and industry standards.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with Angular, ADF, Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working within an agile delivery model.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for interacting with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
