Assignment Overview:

We are undertaking a major transformation of digital platforms through a strategic program. To support this transformation, we are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead with solid technical expertise, strong delivery discipline, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Ensure technical coherence and long-term maintainability of the portfolio.
  • Review and challenge solution designs and technical choices.
  • Define, maintain, and promote technical standards and guidelines.
  • Identify, assess, and manage technical risks in a timely manner.
  • Encourage reuse of components and standardization across the portfolio.
  • Support architecture and design reviews with a pragmatic delivery mindset.
  • Monitor technical debt and drive structural improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight to ensure adherence to coding, technical, and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with partners to continuously adopt and implement improvements to the development framework.

Delivery Management:

  • Develop, maintain, and track the roadmap, release plan, and migration plan for the portfolio.
  • Coordinate dependencies across internal teams, external suppliers, and delivery partners.
  • Track progress, capacity, budgets, risks, and key delivery constraints.
  • Escalate blockers early and propose clear, actionable solution scenarios.
  • Provide transparent progress reporting to management and governance bodies.
  • Organize and facilitate effective delivery governance.

Quality Assurance & Operational Readiness:

  • Define clear quality expectations platform components.
  • Oversee the test strategy and follow up on test execution.
  • Ensure release readiness and controlled production introductions.
  • Follow up on defects, incidents, and improvement actions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery and quality processes.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

  • Serve as the central technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Product Owners, development teams, and suppliers.
  • Facilitate decision-making on technical and delivery-related topics.
  • Create transparency around risks, planning, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in software development, software delivery, or solution architecture.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior technical, coordinating, or delivery-oriented role.
  • Strong experience in complex software programs and multi-vendor environments.
  • Proven experience with Agile delivery models and iterative delivery approaches.
  • Experience with software migrations and digital transformation programs is a strong asset.

Technical Competencies:

  • Good understanding of software architecture and modern software development principles.
  • Experience with API-driven integrations and microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures and modern digital platforms.
  • Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test strategy and quality management.
  • Experience with release and configuration management.
  • Hands-on familiarity with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Ability to assess where AI-assisted tools can add value in software delivery, documentation, testing, and quality assurance, while ensuring their responsible, controlled, and compliant use.
  • Experience with digital platforms, content-driven solutions, or other environments is an advantage.
