Technical Project Manager – NIS2 Program

Location: Brussels (2 days a week) & remote work

Job Context:
As part of strengthening its cybersecurity and bringing it into compliance with the requirements of the NIS2 directive, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager (NIS2) to lead and coordinate several strategic information security initiatives. The ideal candidate combines a solid experience in project management with demonstrated technical expertise in one or more areas of cybersecurity (at least 2 years). He is able to ensure both the coordination of stakeholders and active participation in technical work when necessary and will report directly to the CISO.
Main missions:
Ensure the complete management of cybersecurity projects from their launch to their production phase.
Define the objectives, scope, resources, budget and schedule of projects.
Coordinate the business, IT, supplier and external partner teams.
Form a binomial with the CISO for NIS2 compliance.
Monitor risks on the project(s), dependencies, arbitrations and action plans.
Prepare and lead steering and monitoring committees with the technical teams.
Produce progress monitoring reports for management and governance bodies.
Report weekly to the CISO on project monitoring (problems, changes, schedule).
Technical contribution:
Depending on his/her areas of expertise, the candidate will actively participate in the design and implementation of security solutions, notably in several of the following fields:
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Privileged Access Management
Just-in-time access (JIT)
Asset Management
Security Operations Center (SOC)
Vulnerability Management
Network Security
Responsibilities:
Ensure alignment of projects with NIS2 requirements.
Implement projects according to NIS2 requirements.
Ensure the compliance of deployed solutions with applicable security standards.
Work closely with the CISO, IT teams and business stakeholders.
Profile sought:
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity project management.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: IAM, PAM, JIT, Asset Management, SOC, Vulnerability Management, Network Security.
Experience in regulated or NIS2 environments is a major asset.
Technical skills:
Good understanding of the frameworks: NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls.
Knowledge of Microsoft architectures, Entra ID, Active Directory and Cloud environments.
Experience with security solutions on the market (CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, etc.) is an asset.
Project management:
Proficiency in at least one of the following methodologies: Prince2, PMBOK / PMP.
