Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Long-term assignment (+1 year)

Work Regime: Full-time, with 2 days on-site

Location: Brussel-hoofdstad

Description:

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of applications using Java and modern front-end technologies. You will be part of a dynamic development team working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features
Analyze and fix bugs
Write automated tests
Update technical documentation
Ship new software releases
Review code quality and collaborate in code reviews
Participate in Agile ceremonies

Technical Skills:

Proven experience in Java development and bug fixing
Strong knowledge of and experience with Java 17 or higher
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data (JPA 2 or 3), and Spring Security
Experience with Hibernate ORM
Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle Database, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Minimum 10 years of experience in web application development
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins
Java build stack is Maven 3, Artifactory
Experience with Angular (version 18 or later) and PrimeNG
Build is Gradle
Dependency Management via Npm (repo: Artifactory)
Angular project organization in NX
Some experience collaborating using Figma
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, and (Micro)services Architecture
Good understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
Experience with Docker and some Kubernetes for containerized deployments
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and event-based programming with asynchronous messaging technologies via Kafka and MQ

Interest in analysis, as you will be required to analyze
Mastery of Dutch or French and English, as well as knowledge in DevOps
