Java Full Stack Developer

For a customer we are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long term
Location: Brussels
Language skills: Dutch and / or French + English

Job description:

As a Java Full Stack Developer design, you develop and maintain both the back-end and front-end of software applications. You work in an Agile / Scrum environment and contribute to the further digitization of the services.

Responsibilities:

Developing new functionalities and solving bugs.
Writing automated testing and executing code reviews.
Maintaining technical documentation and supporting software releases.
Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies.

Profile & Skills:

Back-end: Good knowledge of Java (17+), Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate and SQL databases.
Front end: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably Angular).
Architecture & Integration: Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices. Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / MQ) is a plus.
Tooling & DevOps: Experience with Git, CI / CD pipelines, Maven / Gradle and basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.

Soft skills:

Analytical, proactive, team-oriented and able to quickly pick up a new functional domain.
