Lead AI Agent Engineer - Security Operations

The Assignment:

As a Lead AI Agent Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining, building, and operationalizing AI agents to enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and resilience of Security Operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and building AI agents to support specific cybersecurity and security operations use cases, creating measurable value for the Security Operations team.
  • Taking ownership of the full AI agent lifecycle, from use case identification and design through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Building and maintaining AI agents for security operations use cases, such as threat intelligence gathering and enrichment.
  • Identifying emerging opportunities where AI can add measurable value to Security Operations and rapidly validating these ideas through structured experimentation.
  • Translating cybersecurity and security operations challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and suitable for production use.
  • Collaborating closely with security analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to refine requirements, validate outcomes, and support adoption.
  • Ensuring delivered solutions can be adopted, maintained, and supported by the Security Operations team post-assignment.
  • Creating clear technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials to enable long-term support by the Security Operations team.
  • Establishing sustainable handover and knowledge transfer processes for the SOC team to take over operational support.
  • Evaluating emerging AI capabilities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, security operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, exposure management, incident response, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining production-ready solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership from concept to implementation, documentation, and handover.
  • Strong understanding of operational requirements and the ability to translate them into robust and scalable solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in multidisciplinary environments.

  • Duration of the assignment: Until the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension.
  • Work regime: Full-time
  • Location: Flexibility to work both from our office premises and remotely from home, with an onsite presence required 3 days a week. 100% remote work is not possible.
