Description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the implementation of KYC regulatory and policy changes within a KYC-focused team. The role involves driving the end-to-end implementation of KYC projects across various entities and brands, ensuring alignment with group guidelines and evolving EU/local regulations. The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of Business Analysis experience, with a proven track record in regulatory implementation and deep expertise in the KYC domain within a banking context.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end analysis and implementation of KYC regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with EU/local regulations, group policies, and audit requirements.
  • Interpret regulatory texts and translate them into actionable business and technical requirements, validated with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams.
  • Define and prioritize KYC-specific requirements and use cases for IT systems, ensuring full traceability to regulatory sources.
  • Design and optimize KYC business processes to address regulatory changes, ensuring scalability across branches and brands.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications, metrics, and controls for KYC systems.
  • Drive requirements traceability from regulation to implementation, conducting impact analyses for policy changes.
  • Lead quality reviews of designs, prototypes, and test plans to certify compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Manage the BA workstream autonomously, including planning, risk mitigation, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Serve as the KYC Subject Matter Expert for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Mentor junior BAs on KYC regulatory analysis and banking-specific requirements engineering.

Language Requirements:

Education:

Master's degree or equivalent

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience as a business analyst in a regulatory environment, with significant expertise in the KYC domain.
  • Strong ability to document and visualize KYC processes using standard modeling techniques.
  • Proficient in requirements management tools to track regulatory changes and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Skilled in MS Office for creating clear process documentation and regulatory reports.
  • Familiar with KYC systems and tools used in banking.
  • Experience with testing KYC processes to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze regulatory texts and translate them into clear business requirements for IT and operations teams.

Business Experience:

  • Deep understanding of KYC workflow processes, including customer onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring in a banking context.
  • Proven experience in the KYC domain within a project context, including implementation of regulatory changes, policy updates, and system enhancements.
  • Strong affinity with IT concepts and systems, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams, architects, and vendors.
  • Experience working in a scaled agile environment, including Squad/Chapter/Tribe structures.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and requirements management practices.
