Business Analyst Service – Controlling

Service Description:

As a Business Analyst Service on the Planning Platform, your key responsibilities will include:

• Owning and continuously enhancing the planning platform.
• Ensuring solution quality, scalability, maintainability, and business value.
• Driving improvements in budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, investment planning, workforce planning, and management reporting processes.
• Analyzing, harmonizing, and optimizing planning processes across multiple entities and countries.
• Gathering, assessing, and challenging business requirements related to planning and performance management.
• Acting as the key point of contact between Controlling, IT, and external implementation partners, coordinating delivery activities and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Participating in the chapter Corporate Business Analyst to further harmonize and improve the business analyst methodology.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and French or Dutch.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Controlling, Corporate Finance, or Business/Project Planning, including experience with finance and planning processes supported by SAP-based systems.
• Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance management processes.
• Strong understanding of how financial and operational planning supports management decision-making.
• Experience working in complex, multi-entity planning environments with multiple stakeholders and governance structures.
• Hands-on experience with Jedox or comparable platforms (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, Anaplan, Board, Sciforma).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into structured requirements.
• Experience in stakeholder management across different organizational levels, including management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to quickly absorb complex information, identify the essential elements, and maintain focus on what matters most.
• Proven track record in steering external service providers and implementation partners.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and focus on business value.
• Knowledge of BPMN.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid environments.
