Linux Security Expert

Location: Brussels

Start Date: asap

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of the Squad’s Security assets, focusing on Red Hat IdM, security monitoring tools, and in-house solutions.
  • Harden Linux OS and related IDM (LDAP, Kerberos).
  • Engage in Security monitoring and analysis of security events.
  • Contribute to the migration of infrastructure and application assets to Cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide third-line security support and incident response for authentication, authorization, or vulnerability issues.
  • Participate in Critical Asset Recovery, DORA compliance, and other projects.
  • Develop and maintain existing scripts and in-house security solutions.
  • Manage risk and vulnerability, taking necessary actions to close risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to audit campaigns and control plans, reporting to management and stakeholders.
  • Work autonomously on large, complex tasks while collaborating closely with team members.
  • Operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Perform at least 40% of work on-premise.
  • Participate in On-Call activities on a rotational basis (7/7 18:00 – 7:30).

Language Requirements:

  • Dutch: Optional
  • French: Preferred
  • English: Mandatory

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience/Knowledge:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Technical expertise in Red Hat Linux OS security, Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Directory Server, Kerberos MIT, and scripting tools (Bash, Perl, Ansible)
  • Preferable experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and tools (CyberArk, Elastic/ELK)
  • Knowledge of AIX and Windows security
