Test Coordinator Position

Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Define test objectives and approach for end-to-end (E2E) testing, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Develop and maintain test plans that support individual product goals and align with global project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with program managers, project managers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure testing efforts meet technical and business expectations. Serve as the primary contact for testing-related discussions, communicating test progress, risks, and outcomes clearly.
  • Test Coordination & Execution: Oversee test activities across various phases and levels, assign responsibilities, ensure adequate test coverage, and verify compliance with quality standards. Coordinate functional, integration, and E2E testing to validate system workflows and business processes. Work with business users to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets their requirements.
  • Test Data Management: Lead and structure test data provision in systems under test and adjacent systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Defect Management & Risk Mitigation: Track defect progress and facilitate resolution with development teams. Assess testing risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Test Reporting & Quality Assurance: Aggregate and analyze test results, identify and categorize defects, and provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders. Offer insights on readiness, risks, critical open defects, and quality trends to support Go/No Go decisions.
  • QA Chapter Contribution: Participate in QA Chapter initiatives, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between testers and other roles. Support the Chapter in achieving key objectives for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and French or Dutch, with the ability to speak, read, and write in these languages. (All texts are written in English, and the standard team language is English.)
  • Demonstrated experience in creating comprehensive E2E test plans.
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating and managing UAT activities with business stakeholders.
  • Capability to recognize non-functional testing needs.
  • Proficiency in assessing test scope and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Proven experience in coordinating Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to challenge assumptions.
  • Understanding of technical IT concepts such as Service and Client Application, Web Service, API, Protocol, Frontend, Backend, etc.

  • Telework: Remote work policy applicable, with a requirement for 2 days per week onsite presence.
