Test Coordinator / Test Analyst (Hybrid Role)

Start Date: ASAP

Work Regime: Full-time

Location: Belgium (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Coordinator / Test Analyst to join an Agile Scrum development team. This is a hybrid role combining approximately 30% Test Coordination and 70% Test Analysis, where you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets both business and technical requirements.

You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, DevOps engineers, testers, and business stakeholders, while coordinating testing activities across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Test Coordination (30%)

  • Coordinate and monitor testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Define and maintain the test approach, acceptance criteria, and regression test scenarios.
  • Align testing activities with developers, testers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate end-to-end and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Drive test automation initiatives for repetitive test scenarios.
  • Report transparently on testing progress, quality, and risks.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to other testers within the team.

Test Analysis (70%)

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to define effective test strategies.
  • Design and execute functional, non-functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Prepare test data and execute manual and automated tests.
  • Support and coordinate business acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain regression test suites.
  • Perform API testing and validate web services.
  • Analyze, document, and report test results and follow up on defect resolution.
  • Document automated testing procedures, tools, and best practices.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Coordinator.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and standards (ISTQB, TMap, or equivalent).
  • Experience with SQL, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience with API testing (SOAP & REST APIs).
  • Hands-on experience with SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of test automation.
  • Experience with Playwright or similar automation tools is a plus.
  • ISTQB certification is considered an asset.
