Mission Context:

We are working on a major AML monitoring project and require a Senior Technical Analyst to manage our current AML monitoring tool. This role is crucial for adhering to the Risk Typology Catalogue issued by the Group Financial Security department. The successful candidate will develop additional scenarios within the current tool to mitigate identified risks and respond to emerging threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate AML risk analysis into effective AML detection scenarios.
  • Write SAS scripts to test and refine scenario logic using historical data simulations.
  • Validate scenario effectiveness with the AML Framework team.
  • Configure scenarios in Netreveal or develop SAS-based detection scripts.
  • Perform testing in a test environment and deploy configurations/scripts to production.
  • Contribute to audit trail documentation ensuring full traceability of the development process.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee.
  • Support the Business Analyst in managing change processes for L1 and L2 teams.
  • Participate in aftercare activities, analyzing alert volumes and relevancy rates.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Dutch and French, both written and spoken.
  • Sound knowledge of English.

Education:

Master's degree required.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical experience with Netreveal (mainly scenario manager), SAP Business Objects, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Business experience in the AML domain is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Agile Way of Working.
