Job Title: Business Analyst Insurance

Location: Antwerpen (2 days onsite)

Project Duration: ASAP – 31/12/2026

Description and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our broker front ambassador team (core). The focus will be on Front-Office related topics within our transformation roadmap, specifically on non-life insurances. Your role will involve developing solution definitions to achieve a high-quality end-to-end IT solution, enhancing the user experience for brokers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and documentation within the broker front product team, focusing on non-life insurances.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements based on business analysis, architectural vision, and imposed standards.
  • Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Model agreed processes and describe needs clearly for business, technical analysts, design team, and offshore Back-Office team using use cases and structured documentation.
  • Ensure coordination and knowledge transfer between all parties involved, both within business and IT.
  • Maintain and update design guidelines.
  • Contribute to projects delivering high-quality IT solutions within scope, time, and budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with external parties, both onsite and offshore.

Profile and Experience:

  • Plan-based, independent, and result-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
  • Communicative and a team player with a strong customer focus.
  • Hands-on mentality and adaptable to change and flexibility in project requirements and priorities.
  • Resilient under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.

Required Experience:

  • Medior to senior level with 3+ years of relevant insurance experience.
  • Experience with business analysis in larger insurance organizations, preferably non-life.
  • Familiarity with Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Optional Experience:

  • Experience in non-life mobility underwriting and claims is an asset.
  • Experience with analysis and modeling techniques such as BPMN and UML, including use cases, is a plus.
