OT Project Manager 

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: End of the year, with potential extension through 2027

Location: Gent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project initiation, business case development, funding approvals, and governance reviews.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Automation, Engineering, and IT organizations.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support deployment of manufacturing automation and digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Coordinate activities related to OT network implementation, IT/OT segregation, infrastructure readiness, equipment connectivity, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with GxP, data integrity, validation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate vendor engagement and manage external partners throughout project execution.
  • Prepare executive presentations, steering committee updates, and project approval documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations, Computer System Validation (CSV), and quality processes.
  • Experience leading manufacturing automation, MES, OT, industrial controls, or digital manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of OT networking, industrial cybersecurity, IT/OT architecture, and manufacturing systems integration.
  • Proven ability to work with senior leadership and global cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project governance skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with PLC, Historian, PI, or industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with FDA, EMA, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, and cybersecurity standards applicable to manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting facility expansions, manufacturing technology deployments, or OT network segregation programs.
