Job Description
As a Senior Windows DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of Windows-based infrastructure. You will actively contribute to improving system security and hardening.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement appropriate and innovative solutions for the technical infrastructure.
- Contribute to operational systems management to ensure service continuity.
- Coordinate activities to ensure the optimal execution of infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and follow up on the technical infrastructure to support its continuous evolution.
- Define, create and implement documentation and procedures for optimal management and maintenance.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and the further development of technical expertise.
- Apply information security policies and rules to ensure the continuity, confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
- Lead projects, advise on best practices, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other teams.

Experience
- At least 10 years of experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including workstation and server editions; certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of storage, networking and cybersecurity.
- Experience with auditing and hardening Windows systems.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, as well as container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Knowledge of backup and restore technologies.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Active Directory (AD), user management, Exchange, DFS, SCCM, Git, GitLab, (Power)Shell scripting and Event Viewer.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools and log analysis, including the ELK Stack.
- Experience maintaining an up-to-date infrastructure inventory.
- Strong ability to diagnose complex system issues, perform performance tuning and implement high-availability solutions.
- Good knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL 4 Foundation).
Work Environment
You hold Belgian nationality and speak either French or Dutch as your primary language, with at least a basic knowledge of the other national language and English.
You have a strong sense of responsibility and are able to maintain a high level of discretion regarding your work. You hold a “Top Secret” security clearance or are willing to obtain one.
Remote work is not possible; you are required to work 5 days per week on-site in Brussels.
Working hours are highly flexible.
