.NET/Azure Developer (IAM)

Role Context

We are looking for a senior .NET/Azure Developer to strengthen a team responsible for the backend of an in-house identity orchestration platform, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM). In this role, you will maintain and further develop existing .NET components while driving the move to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Azure. You will contribute to IAM-related evolutions, API security, and new Azure-based modules.

Description and Tasks

Support and further develop the in-house identity orchestration platform, taking ownership of related analysis, development, maintenance, and follow-up.
Assist in moving existing .NET components toward a cloud-native target architecture on Azure by understanding the current stack, identifying reusable components, and translating functional needs into maintainable cloud-ready solutions.
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Azure components such as Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault, integrating with REST services and identity providers.
Support IAM-related development topics such as user provisioning, API security, token conversion with user context, and identity governance (IGA) changes.
Follow up on IAM-related incidents and support vulnerability management for the components you own.
Apply IAM and security engineering expertise to support secure user management, access control, and API integration.
Maintain and implement solutions within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
Execute component and integration tests.
Document implementations and changes.
Support analysts and designers in converting functional specifications into technical solutions.
Deliver 3rd-line support.
Follow technical evolutions and conduct independent research with the support of an application architect.
Understand the technical architecture and reuse existing technical components.
Assist in scheduled production deployments outside office hours.

Profile and Experience

Senior developer with proven, relevant experience.
Significant experience in .NET back-end/back-office development.
Broad IT knowledge and interests.
Strong planning skills; you challenge the AS-IS and work result-driven.
Work accurately and plan meticulously.
Solution-oriented, communicative, and a real team player.
Hands-on mentality with an eye for quality, taking initiative to optimize development processes.

Required Experience (must-have)

.NET/C# back-end development.
Azure development and cloud-based service development (Azure Functions, cloud-native services).
SQL — relational database design with stored procedures and functions (T-SQL).
REST APIs — designing, building, and consuming RESTful services (JSON).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to deploy solutions across environments.
Secure cloud development practices, including Azure Key Vault for sensitive information.
Source control with Git.
Experience with Agile methodology and a DevOps culture.
Analysis, design, coding, and implementation of customized object-oriented applications.

Nice to Have

SCIM — experience with SCIM-based user provisioning.
OIDC/OAuth — experience with modern authentication and authorization protocols.
Knowledge of IAM concepts such as identity governance (IGA), user provisioning, and token conversion with user context.
Experience or interest in Keycloak (or other identity providers), Open Policy Agent, and fine-grained access control.
Experience delivering IAM-related development or maintenance in a secure customer or partner portal environment.
