Program Manager

Mission Context:

The Program Manager will oversee a set of related projects aimed at achieving specific business objectives. The role involves ensuring that program goals are met by providing comprehensive decision-making capabilities that surpass project-level management. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the program is completed on time, within budget, and that all objectives and stakeholder interests are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

  • Agree on program objectives with management and stakeholders.
  • Represent the client's and organization's interests.
  • Monitor the progress of projects within the program.
  • Provide project managers with a program perspective, including purpose and status.
  • Act as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues with program impacts.
  • Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Monitor individual project progress and support project-level activities when required.
  • Estimate and follow up on program costs.
  • Report to line management and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures defined by Compliance, Permanent Control, and Operational Risk.
  • Serve as the sponsor of the projects within the program.
  • Participate in the steering committee of the program’s projects.
  • Act as an escalation path for project managers.
  • Foresee budget for the program’s projects.

Language Requirements:

  • English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)

Required Experience / Knowledge:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience as a Program Manager.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects or a program of projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organizational insight.
  • Familiarity with various IT systems.
  • Proven experience in data migration, data mesh, and reporting tools rationalization.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
