Business Analyst Position

Service Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the implementation of systems that enhance operational efficiency and strategic objectives. A mindset of continuous improvement is essential, as you will challenge assumptions constructively and collaborate closely with stakeholders to design smarter, future-ready processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Modelling: Demonstrate a strong passion for business process modelling, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and BPMN methodology. Analyze end-to-end business processes and propose improvements.
• Information Modelling: Structure and represent business concepts clearly using UML class diagrams. Introduce new business concepts and refine existing ones to maintain clarity and alignment across systems.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit, clarify, and prioritize business and solution requirements within an Agile framework. Facilitate workshops, refine user stories, and ensure requirements are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
• Solution Design & Validation: Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements sustainably. Safeguard the business architecture during solution design.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Formulate and execute testing activities with the Agile team to ensure quality and alignment with business requirements. Participate in sprint reviews and defect triage.
• Documentation: Create and improve clear, structured documentation that supports business processes, requirements, and solution design. Provide guidance on best practices for maintaining high-quality documentation.
• Leadership: Take ownership and leadership in realizing business needs, proposing improvements, and driving them to implementation. Ensure solutions deliver real business value.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in business analysis and requirements documentation.
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis methods (BABOK, UML, BPMN) and their value in software development.
• Experience in Agile product working is a plus.
• Knowledge of Archimate is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and either French or Dutch (with good knowledge of the other language).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex situations into manageable components.
• Collaborative mindset with a constructive, critical approach.
