Job Opportunity: Medior to Senior Functional Analyst/Tester

Start Date: 01/10/2026 (earlier start possible)

Duration: 1 year (extendable)

Location: Brussels, with a minimum of two days per week in the office in Brussels North; remote work is allowed for the rest of the week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders within the Risk Management team to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
• Work closely with developers to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and facilitate the smooth implementation of functional specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically tailored for risk management applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing focusing on the application and web services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues related to risk management modules.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies for risk management applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst and Tester, or similar role, preferably in risk management or related domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding complex business processes and system interactions.
• Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and techniques applicable to risk management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of the Energy market.
• Familiarity with Spiratest and/or Tosca testing platforms.
• Knowledge of test automation.

Language Requirements:

Fluent in either French or Dutch, with an excellent understanding of English.
